Getting Started Making Money Online
Posted in Uncategorized on 01/18/2009 05:30 pm by PeterWith the Internet continuing to grow throughout the world and more and more Companies expanding their reach through online media, it should come as no surprise that the Internet can provide an excellent additional income for many and even a healthy full-time income for some!
With that being said, more and more people are looking for ways to make money online in hopes that they can replace their current income and live the life of their dreams. Unfortunately most people are conned into thinking that some of the worst online business models are in fact the “best.”
If you’re looking to start a long-term, solid business online there is no single article that will set you straight. This takes alot of time and a certain amount of patience and only those who understand that will make it.
However, there are many who are just looking for some quick, short-term money and/or an additional income. In order to set the record straight so to speak, here are a few legitimate “models” one can adopt in order to make money online legitimately:
1. Become a ghostwriter – The Internet is full of content, so it should come as no surprise that Webmasters are willing to pay others to research and write content for them!
2. Offer your coding, designing and/or executive assistant skills on sites like scriptlance.com, rentacoder.com etc.
3. Be a professional blogger – If you’re a SME (Subject Matter Expert) on something in particular, contact popular Companies online and see if they have a blog. Many companies outsource their blog content and are happy to pay qualified individuals to write about what they love.
Of course, the are many advanced techniques like article marketing that you can use to make money online. There are also a few things you want to avoid!
1. paid survey sites – Most of these are not scams, but they offer little to no money for a large time investment.
2. MLM – Just like those scummy letters you get in the mail asking you to send a dollar to someone and you’ll receive 100, there are similar MLM scams online, stay away!
3. Paid to click sites. Some sites offer big bucks for you to simply sit at your computer and click ads. Most of these Companies are legit, but you won’t be making much money unless your idea of “big bucks” is $1 or so per day.
This is just a broad overview. You should always do more investigation before getting into any one particular technique, but I hope this article has at least helped guide you in the right direction!
